Ever notice the same “type” of girl getting pull in the club? Usually the one with the skin-tight dress and mile long weave that gets referred to as “exotic”… It’s what some like to call the “Kardashian Effect”. This very topic got my best friend and I thinking about an interesting little experiment to see just how real this K Effect is.
I came up with the character Sasha Madashian. Shes cute, fun, got a lil body, and “exotic” hair. The club man’s dream all wrapped up. The experiment includes men choosing Sasha in the club and upon the second meeting they get to meet Boler (still cute, fun, got a lil body, but w/ locs).
Over the weekend I got to take Sasha out for her first experiment at a friend’s 80s party. She got chose by a few but set her sights on one in particular. The flirt was in full effect playin with the phony pony, and feeding him her candy necklace. There is no question as to why she got invited to brunch the following morning.
Sunday morning, the phone rings and sure enough its Mr. Choosey. Plans for brunch were still set, and he was picking me up in an hour. I’ll admit I was a little nervous about the reaction but I dolled myself up, sprayed my loc’s and waited in the lobby. The black on black 2010 Camaro pulls up and I see eyes blazing through the tinted window. The conversation went a little something like this.
Me: Well hello!
Mr. C: Hey ::pause:: I didn’t know you had locs
Me: You know I had on a wig last night right?
Mr. C: Yeah but I didn’t know you had locs
Me: How does that make you feel?
Mr. C **pulls out driver’s license displaying a pic of him when he had locs**
The rest of the date went well, and it’s not too much of a story for Sasha’s first trial but there will be more stories to tell! Check out the party pics…. Sasha is a party animal!!
